Moviegoers are saying
Audiences treat this as a gleefully over-the-top martial arts spectacle where the fight choreography is the main event. Reviewers describe split-screen brawls that made them shout 'YES' in the theater, a Friday afternoon crowd that was 'howling,' and a plot that most are happy to ignore. The story gets knocked as bland, but the fights are the reason people keep saying 'must see.'

⋆˚࿔ abigail 𝜗𝜚˚⋆Jun 12, 2026Deliriously fun. If not a new fight classic, contains at least three sequences that go in the pantheon. Whole theater was howling on a Friday afternoon.

You know exactly what kind of movie you're watching when bro gets absolutely clocked by a truck in the first set piece, walks it off, sticks his limbs in some ice water, and is ready to go harder than ever in the next scene.

I didn’t know the human body could move like this. I don’t know how people didn’t die making this. I felt like I had run a marathon by the end. At one point there’s a 5-way split screen between five of the baddest dudes ever and I heard myself involuntarily shout “YES”
Patrick WillemsJun 14, 2026I must say upfront that the overall intensity of this has been a bit overstated. It only really explodes in the final third. But that hardly matters when the craft on display is this good. Truly astonishing fight choreo abounds throughout, some of the most ambitious and…

Same people, same level of brutality, same level of impressive action, what is not to love here? Where this manages to exceed beyond previous films of this genre is in the ridiculous story. It’s hilarious in the best possible ways, just two literal superheroes fighting against two comically evil…
Christian Lilly likedThe FuriousThis feels like a mix between the raid and taken, which is a brutal combo. The action is definitely nothing like I’ve ever really seen before. The choreography to the fights is really something else, almost feeling bizarre to the point where it’s hard to describe. It’s a sick action movie, and the…
Tectash watched_neutraldThe FuriousAnother banger to add to the martial arts genre. It's Taken, meets the raid with a splash of oldboy. I must say Joe Taslim is officially a certified action star at this point. The guy is the total package. Amazing fights backed up by stellar stunt work. Simple but oozing passion.

Action choreography doesn’t get much better than this. This film was pure action and martial arts excellence. The story and the characters were great as well. The fighting choreography was outstanding. “If you can change yourself, you can change the world Wang Wei.” - Navin
Max Tarrant lovedThe FuriousHoly balls! Definition of an action movie. This puts out all the stops. Such a different type of action movie. I feel nowadays action can become a bit generic but the furious does so much! Firstly I think the characters are really well made, having interesting stories…

The most action-packed film I've seen, maybe ever? And by action-packed, I mean action-packed. Insane choreography and KOs, unreal sequences and sound design, and exhilarating stunts and casting. I just know the camerawork, prepping, and practice that had to go into this must have been unbelievably…
Superbad likedThe FuriousDid I watch the same movie as ya’ll 😭 this movie didn’t really do anything that new or innovative, not saying its bad but holy glaze Its non stop action and fighting, it felt like I was watching a watered down Madness Combat, not really any gore except for when the two evil dudes are killing…
Yocee Fr lovedThe FuriousWowowowow! INCREDIBLE! Love the fights. Such choreography deserves high praise. I loved watching these warriors take and deliver blows in such a realistic way. Realistic only in the sense that it doesn't look like they're just pretending to fight like in other works of this genre

best action movie of the year my mind was blown by what I watched out of the theater story is nothing to ride home about if you seen taken as for action sequences the camera movement is very smooth as you can feel the intensity of the acrobatic free flow combat as the…
HMHeather MooreThe martial arts are amazing. It’s a bit over the top and the big bald guy not dying after being bashed in the head with a hammer was hilarious. I didn’t really like the back and forth with Chinese and then English. And the dubbing was weird as the lips still seemed to line…
JMJosh MooreAmazing choreography. I haven’t seen a movie with this great of fight scene in a very long time. I would give it a solid 8.5/10
