This has its moments for sure (that ending is wild) and the house looks awesome, but just didn’t reach the heights of other 70’s Haunted/Evil house flicks as I had hoped it would. Still recommended for fans of 70’s genre stuff. Perhaps a cleaned up print would do some…

Richard Crenna, Joanna Pettet, and Andrew Prine lead a team of doctors that attempt to open a drug rehab center inside an old mansion that is built on a gate to hell. It’s nowhere near the caliber of something like Lucio Fulci’s The Beyond but it does have some fun moments…

This might be a camp classic but Victor Buono's Devil in a white "pit" causing skeptic psychologist and drug rehab specialist Crenna to endure headaches, feeding from his fear with ease and relish feels exactly as it was: a tacked-on producer demand that seems too kitsch…

This was my second attempt at watching this because I fell asleep the first time. It's a fairly standard haunted house fare that swings for the fences in the last 20 minutes. Quite a boring experience to be honest as it takes a while for anything to happen. Story-wise, it's…
