Great happy ending. I was able to connect with the characters and feel their emotions. Well acted by the actors to show the hardship and loneliness.

Thought provoking story about the strength and determination of what another will do for her child & family. Slow moving at times, but overall great storyline, great cinematography, & great ending.

I can think of few other films that get into the skin of new motherhood, with its formless terrors and fierce, furious primal love, as inventively and effectively as this one.

The End We Start From is down-to-earth, beautifully conceived and thoughtful, a shrewd piece of filmmaking in support of the story’s thematic preoccupations, particularly motherhood.
