Zombie’s ugly, dusty dad-rock western-horror banger that occupies the exact intersection of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Wild Bunch and Bonnie & Clyde. Repurposing the extremely gruesome Manson family and serial killer paranoia of the 70s (that Hooper and Craven were…
Josh LewisOct 30, 2020rob zombie knows that the best horror sequels involve a genre shift. alien -> aliens, texas chainsaw massacre -> texas chainsaw massacre 2, evil dead -> evil dead 2. but what changes from house of 1000 corpses to the devils rejects is less the genre of the movie and more…

A southern-fried junkyard carnival of relentless bedlam, blood soaked violence, and wild eyed revenge. The Devil’s Rejects is one sadistic slab of outlaw grindhouse transplanted right into the mid 2000’s—frantic, grimy, and hedging it’s bets that we, the viewer, desire to…

pd187rob zombie is one of the ultimate wifeguys, nothing but respect for him putting sheri moon zombie in this trilogy as a totally unrepentant monster of a character.

ava adoreFeb 28, 201881 The Other Side of the Story. Rob Zombie's coked-out 9/11 dissection screams from both lands, mushing allegory and exploitation among a 70s Texas hellscape. The American ideal perverted, spat on, and left for dead. The only choice is to kill. And the only response is…

Garrett Rupe lovedThe Devil's RejectsDon’t trust the neighbors at the shady desert motel! “Chinese, Japanese, dirty knees, look at these!”
Christian Contreras likedThe Devil's RejectsFunny movie that is very gory but surprisingly awesome to see
Rubie Kelly lovedThe Devil's RejectsMessed up, gory, awesomeness. Remember suggesting this as my family movie night choice when I was about 11 years old, much to my parents horror. Already watched it 10x at that point 😂 My aunt wasn't allowed to lend me movies anymore after that.

nik lovedThe Devil's RejectsThis movie is as crazy as house of 1000 corpses but just a tad more fun

- Damien likedThe Devil's Rejects
I liked this way better than corpses. Focused on the three best characters and the brother of the former sheriff. He was awesome. I wish it ended differently but I enjoyed the cat and mouse revenge story. Granted the final scene was extremely cool and well done. Just the sherif
Mason Prince likedThe Devil's RejectsDespite often being regarded as superior to its predecessor, I favor House of 1000 Corpses to The Devil’s Rejects. Zombie drops the stylistic, acid trip, grindhouse horror for a more 1970s western, good vs evil story. 8/10
Ali Walsh likedThe Devil's RejectsI wish it would have touched on some for of the subjects from the last movie. I wish they would have talked about the fact that this family dealt with satanic/magic stuff. Where’s Dr. Satan now?

Evil isn't this boring.

If you can stomach the violence -- and despite the R rating, that's a big if -- it's hard to deny that Zombie has made exactly the movie he set out to make, guaranteed to satiate his considerable fan base and sicken just about everyone else.
Justin Chang
Variety
By rubbing your nose in this hillbilly mayhem, Zombie all but dares you to acknowledge your liberal elitism, simply because just now, in Dubya's America, you don't happen to find anything particularly funny or lovable about stupid, dangerous provincials.
