This movie opens with Lucifer falling from heaven and crashlanding into hell, and when he sees the archangel Michael followed him - in a superhero landing, no less - Lucifer says, "Shiiiiiit." Then when Michael drags him away, Lucifer yells "IS THIS REALLY…

The scariest part of this movie was when the power went out halfway into the movie and they rewound it too far so I had to watch 10 minutes of it that I'd already seen again. GRADE: F

40 Considering how low budget this must be, it’ll easily remain as one of the most ambitious films of 2023 (for what it is) throughout the year. Overambitious, yes but Nathan Frankowski’s ambition is at least admirable. The concepts are interesting, the passion is clearly…

On the one hand, The Devil Conspiracy is as bad as a January horror release gets. On the other hand, it's wildly entertaining in its weird combo of self-seriousness and in-on-the-joke-i-ness. It's a tough one to review... and I'm giving it 3 stars, not because it's good,…

The Devil Conspiracy is nuttier than the proverbial fruitcake and twice as difficult to swallow, regardless of where you reside on the theological spectrum.

The Devil Conspiracy is a high-concept religious action flick with horror influences that sells its ambitions short but still entertains despite itself.

The film drags considerably — at one point I thought it was almost over only to realize there was a full hour left — but the over-the-top religious hokum is too fun to ignore.
