The fact that this came out a year after Cars is so funny to me like Owen Wilson played this broken guy trying to physically and emotionally heal from his wounds and reconnect with his brothers a year after stepping into the voice booth and going "KACHOW" 50 times

Sean FennesseyJun 22, 2021TW/ Suicide "The Darjeeling Limited". Synonymous, to me, with "Overlooked" and "Sidelined". This Film has always been a Personal Favorite of Wes Anderson's for me. Everything about it just hit me like a ton of bricks when I first watched it, and it still has that power…

Lax4life lovedThe Darjeeling Limited“I wonder if the three of us would have been friends in real life. Not as brother, as people.” Gonna need to watch every Wes Anderson movie after this one. Very good story told comically. Shot very well. Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman all have great performances

Extremely underrated Wes Anderson film, I came into this film not expecting a whole lot of anything. I was just watching it to see all of his films but man this one doesn’t get anywhere near enough credit about how amazing it is. I prefer the first half of the film however. 9/10
Arabella lovedThe Darjeeling LimitedSome may find this boring but i absolutely loved this film, the bond of brothers, the cinematography, The comedy, how well written the characters are, definitely deserves more praise
Sharwini lovedThe Darjeeling LimitedSuch a comforting and warm movie. I get Wes Anderson’s hype. Deals with grief in the most peaceful way. What a way to look into life

This is familiar psychological as well as stylistic territory for Anderson after Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums. But there's a startling new maturity in Darjeeling, a compassion for the larger world that busts the confines of the filmmaker's miniaturist instincts.

A slow train to Dullsville that makes all local stops. You know a film is in trouble if the most interesting thing in it is the luggage.
