ScreeningNotesAug 11, 2015This is one of those movies I'll always watch whenever I come across it on TV. Absolutely love the story. Very creative and well executed.

i think this movie would be better, or at least way funnier, if eli’s book was like literally anything other than the bible. imagining an alternate cut where this guy fanatically believes humanity’s only chance of survival is harry potter and the chamber of secrets
First good movie I’ve watched that has heavy religious references without being overly dramatic or cheesy. Plus all the characters were well written and create a very engaging story. With this in thought I’d rate it a solid 6/10
I thought I hadn’t seen this before, but after watching today I had forgotten I had seen it before. It’s a fairly unique story, even though it has shades of Fahrenheit 451 at the very end. It’s The Equalizer meets Mad Max. So if you like either of those films you’ll enjoy this.

5.7/10. Starts very slow, very short main plot, good ending (somewhat saves it). The shot selection is very sporadic, no consistency, green screen is quite terrible at times. The overall idea is great, just poorly executed imo. Wish there was more explaining of what happen before
