Synopsis

An underdog American team competes for first place at France's Mondial du Fromage: the Olympics of cheese.

Moviegoers are saying

Audiences treat The Big Cheese like a warm, slightly tipsy reunion for anyone who has ever cried about gouda, with reviewers calling it funny, inspiring, and sharply edited. Reviewers compare its underdog competition arc to Somm, and one describes the 88-degree, no-AC screening room as a 4DX experience. The numeric scores run oddly low (averaging about 4.1/10) against the glowing text, so the ratings may be a joke or a glitch.

If you were originally headed to the At Eternity’s Gate (2018) screening because you love Willem Dafoe and Oscar Isaac, then got convinced not to because it was actually an old movie, pivoted to the absurdly titled The Big Cheese (2025) instead, and somehow ended up having…
