If I understand correctly, this film (while bonding with Sam Altman) is saying AI won’t destroy us as long as we trust capitalism to do the right thing.
inmanicMar 13, 2026This guy spent 2 years talking to the foremost experts in AI in the world and essentially just asked them "make me feel better about AI". And when he didn't like the answer, he just asked different people... until he got an answer he liked. There's no research here or…
cecyxcxMar 26, 2026I’m not the Reddit rage bait rant kinda guy who voices every personal opinion online without thinking twice… but the reviews of this doc reveals a lot about how some people perceive what independent, centralist journalism should be. “This is propaganda.” If this were some…

This movie’s ending is a suggestion to call your congressperson or join an organization to push for guardrail laws. It gets so close to saying that the incentive structure for this made up technology has been decoupled from actual markets that a financial speculation…
Dave GonzalesMar 27, 2026EXISTENTIAL DREAD! Not sure why some people are calling this pro AI propaganda? I was already Anti-AI going in, I'm even more Anti-AI now. This was freakin' terrifying. Some of the things I heard had my jaw on the floor. Not the be all end all documentary on AI. But if…
Joel R.Feb 1, 2026Genuinely reprehensible and destructive film. Why does it start with the most well-articulated interview subjects explaining how AI is rapidly spiraling out of control… then transition to glib, corporate motivational speakers that sound like they’re trying to sell me on…

A lot of the takes on this already feel depressingly pre-written. I get the sense that some people showed up to see whether it would affirm whatever position they had already decided to hold, but I actually found its refusal to do that to be one of its real strengths. What…
Trevor TillmanMar 17, 2026Apparently I can stave off the AI apocalypse by “writing my congressman”
Rob DiCristinoMar 24, 2026barely scratches the surface of the most interesting questions about AI and capitalism, structural inequality, climate change... but at least they got sam altman to sit down and answer a few softball questions?

A great documentary with tons of style to its presentation and compelling emotional core to keep you invested. The interviews can get repetitive at times and I kinda wish the ending had a less vague call to action, but it still was interesting and mature in its discussions.
I thought this was a really interesting documentary. I like how he speaks to both sides of the coin. People that think the world is ending because of AI people that think the world is better because of AI. I definitely recommend everyone check it out.
