I wasn’t prepared for the generosity and gorgeousness with which Aussie writer-director Stephan Elliott turn this most unlikely road picture into something arresting, if a tad sentimental, in its naive vision of a perfectly tolerated world.
This surprised me! Off the rip Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce are incredible, Pearce specifically in one of the more naturally funny roles he’s been in, but both nail this beautiful element of humanity that often goes misrepresented. I particularly was blown away by the cinematography with so much of…

Wish I could like double love this, I love it so much I don’t even have the words. Nobody told me this was the best movie ever, except the people who did tell me who I ignored. I understand now. So camp so funny and also you will cry.

Entertaining, heartfelt, and well-performed, even if a lot of the dialogue is only generically clever.
One of the most entertaining road trip comedies out there. The acting all around is amazing.
