    9.2 - maybe the most underrated & under-appreciated Disney classic. Elite soundtrack, great pace, cool action, bright colors, & unique characters. And Jane needs way more love as a Disney heroine. She’s a scientist, artist, & explorer & gets hate cause she falls for Tarzan? C’mon

    DK HOW ITS MISSING FROM MY ❤️’s, It is the movie that brought me into consciousness fr, I used to sit on the floor in the first house I can remember watching it over & over, they played it for me during the move too, my room was disappearing slowly behind me but I was invested

    i love this movie si. i rewatched it today, at 16, and i just realized that clayton was hung. i thought he fell to death this whole time🫠 I love this movie

    Tarzan is a great character is while back story is amazing. And I love the first half of this film. But once we start throwing Humans and Tarzan trying to get back to humanity I get a bit bored. I guess it’s good though so it’s not just a jungle book rip off. But still, a 7.5/10

    childhood favourite. funny looking back how i could have realised earlier that i was trans. and rewatching it now being on testosterone and „becoming“ a man it feels like coming home

The movie is a collision between inspiration and tastelessness, between the defiantly quirky and the wholesomely homogenized. I hated it in principle--I hate most modern Disney cartoons--but adored a good deal of it in practice.
