Video coming eventually. Bless Nic Cage for making these otherwise painfully average movies very entertaining.

Cage gets to do his thing and  that’s enough for me. Cage-lateral!

The obvious comparison is Collateral, I think this also has a bit of Killing Them Softly in it but it’s so barebones that it doesn’t give you nearly as much to chew on. Some people might like it for that simplicity, but it left me cold. Nic Cage gets to do Nic Cage though…

The movie itself is fine but Nic with his red hair and bad Boston accent hits a solid 8.0 on the Cage-o-Meter. There’s no one else like him.

It's maybe a little bit too convoluted narratively considering its very simple presentation, but I had a whole lot of fun with this. It's another one of those rare films that gives Nicolas Cage the right amount of room to run amuck and create chaos on screen, he's used…

Nic Cage doing Nic Cage things in the back of a car for 90 minutes? Yes please! Joel Kinnamon doing Joel Kinnamon things in the front of a car for 90 minutes?…..well….whatever, you heard the Nic Cage thing, right?  This is a fun contained thriller with another patented and…

Nicolas Cage starred in 152 movies, more or less. This is one of them. That is not an excuse for the movie being as bad as it is. The Nic Cage shows stays enjoyable with as highlights an Edward G. Robinson impression, a boogie-woogie dance and a monologue about The Mucus…

It's mean, gritty, and brutally nihilist, its mystery unwrapping before it strangles you with its perfect meanness. If noir is about, as the old saying goes, bad people doing bad things for good reasons, then Sympathy for the Devil bleeds in all the right ways.

With copious scenes of Nicolas Cage going buck wild, it can hardly be faulted for failing to give audiences what they want.
