Extremely funny bit to do a version of this musical where the best singer is Toby
James (Schaffrillas)Nov 15, 2016once i was really aggressively singing along with worst pies in london & so of course when mrs lovett jams her huge knife into the chopping board i did it too except i was so overexcited that i snapped the knife completely & to this day my whole family thinks it just went…

My own damn fault for selecting a musical, then getting annoyed when they sang too much
Not as good as Andy Bernard’s performance, but still pretty good

Loved everything about this movie the cinematography world building the songs I’m not really into musicals but this was awesome!
I went into this not knowing that it was a musical so that was quite a surprise. I liked the cast performances, the plot, the production design and the gothic cinematography but I wasn’t really a fan of the musical score. It was superfluous and tedious to listen to at times
Loved the actors, loved the character designs, and I loved the singing. I also liked the mystery aura to this. But what lost me was the fact that they used actual human meat to feed ppl😭 and then the whole killing just bc. Then the side quest of (1)

Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter didn’t do the musical numbers any justice. Visually, a very good movie. The acting was superb. But the singing was so flat and boring from the main two characters. Anthony f*cking killed it though.
i hate this version so much i don’t understand why it’s so popular, the singing feels so lifeless and everything feels so flat and miserable, i like the original broadway cast and the 2014 anniversary versions so so much more
