Sorry, just a miss for me. Loved Gunns guardian of the galaxy but this just didn’t match up. It’s a No for me. Preferred the snyderverse and Cavils Superman.
The film Man of Steel should have been in the first place.
Was really looking forward to this one and felt disappointed. It felt pretty cheesy to me, very comical, with a weak storyline. Just so much CGI and not much character development. I much preferred James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” over this one.

Superman spent too much time talking and not enough time fighting. They are too focused on him being a people’s person and not focused on him being a super human.
Just ok, it’s a great straight to streaming movie. Not worth it in the theaters.

Stupid! Good choice for new Superman, and the love attraction with Lois was good. But as someone who has seen decades of Supermen, this was a disaster. Old Supermen would have been ashamed.

Superman is back! Loved it! It’s like a Saturday morning cartoon come to life and the cast is great. Krypto is a fun inclusion as well. If anything the writing is a bit weak when it comes to exposition stuff, but that is a blemish on something so awesome!
By far the best Superman to date.
DC is in good hands with James Gunn at the helm! Looking forward to more from them!

A comic book come to life. Entertaining film. Well paced. Great villain. James Gunn has improved the DC universe. Woke worries? Don't have them. Parallels to real life? Yes. But it 's a comic book movie! Just enjoy the show.

I had my reservations about having a new Superman but this one was money. James Gunn did a wonderful job directing this movie.

It’s nicely packed and quite funny, when it isn’t giving into Gunn’s trademark air of merry depravity.
By the movie’s merciful end, you wonder what a nice guy like Superman is doing in a mean place like this.
There’s promise here. A broader cinematic universe that feels cohesive, filled with amusing cameos and, for the first time in years, a DCU that feels like it has a faint pulse are all very welcome. But whenever the film strains to address Big Ideas, it’s painful.
