I too would like to direct a movie where I come back as Jesus at the end.
Sarah_CMar 21, 2018Kirk and crew stealing the Enterprise is one of my favorite sequences in this, or any, franchise. I’ve always admired the catatonic depressive atmosphere lingering throughout The Search for Spock… the opening Captains Log, how empty Kirk is and his collapse after a certain…

Probably the best of the bad ones imo. If this is a below average installment of your franchise you're alright in my book. It's not his fault but Christopher Lloyd (as the first cool looking Klingon) never rises above the threat of a nuisance and so the whole thing drags…
Branson ReeseNov 13, 2024Why does no one talk about this one? It’s got Christopher Lloyd as a manic Klingon and he’s simply a blast to watch. The dude’s got an alien dog and a kickass Spaceship too! Hell, all the ships look particularly good in this. That extends to all the other practical and…

42/100 The franchise equivalent of the bathroom stall fight scene in The Raid 2. Spends all its time reversing the graces from The Wrath of Khan without going anywhere new. Odd, occasionally beautiful filler.

Really cool, just love how it perfectly ties into the previous one, it's like they just extend the episodes into films. But most importantly, the story was great, I loved the Klingon, Scot is awesome, and this was good, new planet, lots of fighting, just really enjoyable
2024 Rewatch: Underrated film in the series with many memorable moments. Smaller in scale and focuses a lot on the crew's camaraderie, which brings a lot of humor & heart. I do still think the death of one character and return of another were imperfectly handled.
8/10 A nice and fulfilling follow up to The Wrath Of Khan. I just love happy endings and this one really mended the damage done to my heart by it’s predecessor so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Star Trek films are like Lay’s potato chips you can’t just eat/watch one.

A really enjoyable Star Trek movie! The burning Enterprise falling into orbit and being watched by the crew was a GREAT visual. “Turning death into a fighting chance to live…” Great quote for the moment about Kirk’s abilities. The ending was very happy and positive too!
so so underrated tbh. “Kirk, I thank you. What you have done is…” “What I have done, I had to do.” “But at what cost? Your ship. Your son.” “If I hadn't tried, the cost would have been my soul.” brb crying rn also kirk and spock are in love and also married. 9/10

One of the less impressive of the William Shatner period of Star Trek films however still a decent film.
