This film is everything it needs to be, it has a superb cast, powerful characters, a compelling story, a beautiful score and perfect pacing. Jake Gyllenhaal is a perfect Mysterio in my opinion, I hope we see another variant of him again.

Loved the continuation of Peter's story and how the superhero life starts to get complicated for him. I liked that he starts getting into real superhero business now that Tony died and how they incorporated Tony into it since he was Peter's role model and like a father figure.

Minor 10 seconds worth of an "Extend Cut" that didn't really add on to the movie. Still a great movie and was happy to watch it again.

Worth seeing a second time!
JYJoonmo YangI watched it for the 2nd time (just bcuz it said “extended cut”) & it was really the same other than adding 2 or 3 new scenes. So it was just ok for me as a 2nd time watching.
DVDebbie VongI liked the buildup even though I was confused what was happening from the beginning and once the story actually set the visuals set you on a roller coaster. I haven’t seen the original cut so i don’t know what’s the difference but I enjoyed this!

What I can say is Jake Gyllenhaal is fantastic in this movie. I was skeptical about bringing in Mysterio as the potential antagonist (villain), and he exceeded my expectations. The FX-team transferred Mysterio’s powers from comic book page to the big screen beautifully.
