Soul is the textbook definition of a one-of-a-kind in that there’s nothing textbook about it. From the look to the music and from the structure to the story itself, everything about this is completely fresh. Like watching a Pixar film for the first time again. The film…

A spark isn't a soul's purpose. Oh, you mentors and your passions. Your "purposes." Your "meanings of life." So basic. I used to think this movie was too complicated for kids, because as an adult, I personally had trouble grappling with it’s honesty. But I saw this in…

A more intellectual and artistic take on the same concepts that Inside Out and Coco tackled. I feel like these three movies make for a pretty interesting thematic trilogy, and while I think this might be the slight weakest of the three, it's nonetheless another hit for a…

"Life is full of possibilities, you just have to keep looking, don't lose enjoying life" A very deep movie aimed at adults, ideas that are impossible to understand except in this way of narration and graphics. ✨🌌👻

easily one of my favorite newer Pixar movies, very emotional and great captivating plot, Jamie foxx was also a great pick for the character.

Goddamn this movie is good. Don’t like disneys habit of transforming poc into non-humans for the majority of the movie (still mad about Princess and the Frog), but besides all that, these movies are so phenomenal and emotionally powerful.

I thought this movie was going to be pretty good from the previews. But once again they turned us blackies into some sort of creature. Very disappointed.

The title, with its built-in weightiness ... well, it’s a tall order, one this latest Pixar animated feature falls just short of. The dominant mood here is not so much soulful as spirited, which is still better than most – and a most welcome gift.

Soul asks its audience to examine what in life truly is important. You never know what your spark might be, until suddenly you do. And it might not be what you think. Turns out you may have had it all along.
