I’m so glad this exists ;-; This was cute and very different from other Snow White stories as such as the fact she didn’t get kissed by the prince and etc Also the beginning of the movie were incredible cute with the dolls coming to life!!
Elwira HasselbladMar 23, 2024The fairy-tale vibe is strong in this one, it's more than I expected. And I appreciate that the Grimmer elements of the story haven't yet been pasteurized and smoothed over to avoid scaring the kiddies.

A bit garbled but three stars for truly lovely Marguerite Clark. Also that witch with literal pig tails for hair !!!

An early Snow White adaptation from director J. Searle Dawley, who mostly specialised in short films but did some dabbling in feature stuff. It's rough around the edges and scrambles to its finish, but the costumes and makeup are winning. I liked Marguerite Clark as Snow…

SuzyJan 18, 2025What a delightful little fantasy world this conjured. Loved all the sets and costumes, and especially the corny rhyming intertitles. Plus I got to see it with a terrific live accompaniment on harp and viola. It's been too long since I've seen the Disney version to spot all…
