Not only is it pretty boring but Samara Weaving is barely in it, that’s no way to win me over

Japan: Where undead Hollywood franchises go to get a new lease on life (if often by exoticizing the country until it feels cut off from the rest of the world, thus allowing brand-driven movies to start from scratch). It worked for “The Fast and the Furious” with “Tokyo…

I had a good time, not nearly as badass as the trailers made it out to be but still fun. Could have used some better writing though. They also totally blue balled people with the suit. Cinematography was REALLY nice, if you can see this on a big screen I think it will do…

Zum Video-Review: youtu.be/ScGmOgr8aQA Ich mag an „Snake Eyes“ nahezu gar nichts, soviel schon mal vorweg. Aber das im Findungsprozess dieser traurigen Misskalkulation irgendwer dachte: „Lass mal alle Beteiligten wochenlang brutales Kampftraining absolvieren lassen, dann…

Oh how I wish Snake Eyes could have been better. What a lacklustre spectacle indeed.  Unlike many, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins was one of my most anticipated movies this year. Anything with Henry Golding in garners my interest but having him star as Snake Eyes,…

I enjoyed the story but the only thing that bothered me was there was no mention of snake eyes mother and how he ended up being so well trained with no formal backstory into his youth.

There isn’t an original idea in “Snake Eyes,” so even if the first big brawl is cool enough to give one false hope, the puerile story leaves our star and the director of “RED” (and “R.I.P.D.”) nowhere to go, even on a cool, whining electric street bike.

If we absolutely must have G.I. Joe movies, surely they shouldn’t be this joyless.

As much as the movie appears to yearn to jump-start the franchise, it seems to have forgotten to bother with a coherent script, leaving one to wonder how a film with this much action somehow manages to be so boring.
