Features an almost 1:1 genuinely creepy/deeply silly ratio.

Very underrated horror movie. sure the haunted house cliche is a bit old but the way this movie builds suspense is incredible. the only music throughout the entire film were on those video tapes. and speaking of the tapes, some of the most graphic visuals ive ever seen in a movie
Don't get me wrong, this is a good movie. But I was a bit disappointed. It's been advertised as the scariest movie ever, so ofc I expected gore and lots of blood and etc. This is not that. It's more of a crime investigation with a few jumpscares than a horror movie. just fyi
