    Some of the jokes had me crying and some had me kinda cringing and wishing they would get it over with. Definitely a mixed bag and there were times I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. Wouldn’t watch again, but I would seek out clips of the movie to send to friends.

    Scary Movie might non be a classic, but it’s a solid satire of contemporary slasher films that I had a good time with. If you are hoping to forget your troubles for 90 minutes, Scary Movie certainly does the job.

    Casual 2000s comedy. The fact that it's not only based on scream but uses other horror movies is genius. It even breaks the fourth wall. I love parodys, this is one of the best by far. It's easy to be offensive in a movie; it's much harder to be funny. Which is why Scary Movie emerges as such a waste; when you're so good at the latter, why keep falling back on the former?
