The first act of this movie is the funniest section of any saw, earnestly trying to humanise a deranged serial killer is not what I was expecting but I’m here for it

SOOO CRAZY DUDE amanda slayed but also wtf was that haircut
Ben Lecker lovedSaw XI absolutely loved this film. The traps were amazing, and with a higher budget, were gorier and more intense. My favorite was the brain surgery trap, and it’s my favorite of all time. This saw film had the best story, and focused on Kramer, and the post credit was AWESOME. 8.5/10
Issy likedSaw XFelt like I had Saw back after the mess of Spiral. It was amazing to have Tobin Bell back, and to have the OG saw back. They didn’t hold back on the kills, and I still feel like they were able to create twists I didn’t see coming.
- Jay is "meh" onSaw X
It was definitely a lil slow in the beginning, I did like the twist but tbh it was a lower ranking for me that the rest of the movies. the main villain lived? She got injured but not a gorey death which she deserved more than the rest of the people who actually died. 5.5/10
Jacxon Ryan lovedSaw XOne of the top 3 Saw films EVER! And for this to be movie 10…. That’s an amazing feat in itself. This film is so well made I was literally shocked as it was playing out. The kills are so rooted in a justification that anyone can grasp. This movie does all the right things.
jazzyy lovedSaw Xi love this franchise. it's my comfort zones. but the traps are amazing and it's more gory which i love that. sure spiral was okay but it's great to have saw back after that. i love that tobin bell was in this he's like my favorite in all the movies

Karly Vaia likedSaw XI honestly just didn’t like the ending with Cecelia, other than that I thought it was great.
Your Movie Advisor is "meh" onSaw XWhy did I watch? Just for the sake of finishing the series. Was it great? No, many previous movies were much better but it was nice getting to know some of the story behind the “mastermind” even though there were still some gaps left out. 100% more sequels judging by the ending.
Clay Werner likedSaw X6.9 - surprisingly one of the best of the series. Great traps/sets, keeps the “chance to survive” intact, fits its timeline spot seamlessly, & Tobin Bell gives a classic John Kramer performance. For something unnecessarily risky, it delivered as much as I could hope.

HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT!!! Can’t wait to watch it again. Saw movies are always so good with the plots. Love how they mess with your mind. I loved it!! 11/10.
AJAbel JennyThis was the most fleshed out Saw movie I’ve seen since Saw 2. It’s a fun watch. It has crazy, funny, and sentimental moments. It takes it time and It’s worth the watch. I’d definitely watch it again. This one really makes you question what a villain really is. Go for it.…
JLJason LeeIt’s not that great of a movie. Bad script, kind of rushed. 5/10

Fans who tune in mainly for the insane timeline twists won’t get them, but otherwise, this is the most satisfying Saw installment since the first three. Also, be sure to stick around for a mid-credits scene.

The traps are disgusting; the plot, so self-serious its absurd (and knowingly so). And unlike the sundry sequels before it (by the third “Saw,” any pretense of ingenuity had been hacked off), this one manages to make you feel something beyond gross-out adrenaline — assuming you have affection for the franchise’s mainstays.

The blood is good. The traps are good. The series' nastiness is intact, even as it all looks a bit bigger and a bit slicker. The important thing is that Saw X continues to be unafraid of its own continuity, so infatuated with its own delightful bulls***.
