Within 30 mins into Saving Private Ryan, Steven Spielberg rewrites everything about warfare filmmaking, destroys several Hollywood clichés, completely redefines the combat genre, and permanently cements his film's place amongst the greatest examples of its kind. And the…

8.9 Honestly this is one of my least favorite movie genres by far, but I still thought this movie was amazing. There are so many iconic scenes in this and it is a very intense and moving film. The opening scene and third act are both spectacular, very well written and directed.
10/10 My favorite movie of all time. I’ve always been into war movies and this one delivers everything you can hope for in a movie. Incredible action and characters. Spielberg directing is fantastic. The suspense, effects, and acting are all superb. I revisit this one every year
The visual masterwork finds Spielberg atop his craft, weaving heart-pounding action and gut-wrenching emotion that will leave viewers silently shaken… If words occasionally fail the picture, the images speak indelible volumes. The 24 minutes sequence at the start is phenomenal.

Greatest war movie of all time
AWAri WarshawThis movie is an absolute masterpiece, and though there are those that will point out the small historical or realism fallacies, it is the perfect war film that will bring the emotions out of anyone that cares about what the men of D-Day did for not only the U.S. but the…
CDCraig DixonSteven Spielberg places you back in the 1940’s as though you’re actually there. So real.
