Moviegoers are saying
Audiences are mostly thrilled by the Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson pairing, with reviewers calling their chemistry a 'real bromance' and their banter 'so funny.' The organ-delivery race delivers edge-of-your-seat set pieces like the spinning-tire police car, though some viewers find the violence excessive and the dialogue thin.

🎃spooky allain♡🎃Sep 10, 2026I totally glazed over the whole grief and alcoholism plot with Alan Ritchson knocking people out with his sheer body weight.

theyo theyoOct 6, 2026Alan Ritchson beating people up, his odd yet humorous chemistry with Owen Wilson and the intentionally old school non stop action stretches make this generic n action comedy a watchable affair. Not for the plot, but for the punches.

This is an awful lot like an extended-length episode of Reacher. A little better in some ways (Owen Wilson, a better ending than the Reacher writers give their seasons), and a little worse in others (Reacher has mysteries and surprises; this movie has none). But mostly it’s…
Adam ForrestSep 10, 2026👌🏻 2.8 / 5 👌🏻 Runner delivers the package... just don't expect express shipping. I respect how Angel Studios keeps swinging at mainstream genre stuff. But Runner makes you feel how hard they're working to keep an action movie inside PG-13 lines. Sometimes it works, but…
TheMovieMobSep 10, 2026Boomer movies need love too, even if I have to contend with them loudly asking questions that get answered on screen immediately, candy wrappers crinkling endlessly, or even a mouth agape dimwit walking down my aisle and stopping in front of me to take in a view of the…

It’s almost exactly what you think it is but maybe a little better? It’s got genuinely interesting action, some actually funny lines from Owen Wilson, and some moments are so silly and outrageous that they make you laugh. This is obviously no Oppenheimer, and tbh it absolutely is the most super…
Ryan Embick lovedRunnerAmazing movie supper excited to see a new movie network called angle looking forward of watching more movies but for Runner if your in to transport organ High Jack’s your gonna love this amazing cast can re watch.
Micheala likedRunnerThis really surprised me as an Angel Studio movie! It surprised me in being very daring with a lot of more gritty action. However, it also surprised me with not really having any sort of Christian message? Overall a solid action movie with some really funny moments though ♡

Thai was deeper than I thought it was going to be. Still a pretty decent action comedy, the plot was good but felt too unrealistic at times. The action was good but had the same issue. The acting was good though and so was the cast. Pretty well executed. 8.1/10
Phil Bradley likedRunnerRitchson & Wilson develop a great on screen rapport in this action packed race against time. The Cartel, a dying child and some amazing stunts all set in Brisbane and Australia’s Gold Coast. Can recommend for action fans.
BENNY likedRunner7.5/10 Runner was a pretty entertaining movie with plenty of action and suspense. The story kept me interested, and the performances were good. It wasn’t anything too special, but overall, it was a decent movie to watch

RUNNER surprised me in the best way! What initially seemed like a pretty straightforward A-to-B action story turns into an enjoyable, intense, very suspenseful, and surprisingly heartfelt ride. 🏃♂️🫀
vezy likedRunnerSweet lemonade or too much sugar? Owen Wilson is able to play second fiddle so well, such a natural. Great characters and fine story that kept moving. Plot armor strong at times but fun watch.
Azeriax likedRunnerVery good movie, had a blast watching. Unfortunately I didn't love it. Because at a certain point in the movie it was too long for me. Like drawn out. Still recommend it. Def good action movie.

Really great film filled with a lot of heart, adrenaline and emotion.
SZSaul ZavalaPretty good action movie.
DTDonna Tiptona bit over the top violent, even for Alan Ritchson, but the acting of Alan and Owen Wilson makes it overlookable. Some comedy, some tragedy, it is perfect for both of them. 1 star off for unbelieveable violence. Still worth seeing and worthy of 4 stars.

Good action and a cute predictable story. It gave me "Jackie Chan" style of action vibes. Great action scenes with sprinkles of comedy throughout.
IAIvor AthillKept my attention the whole Movie!!!!
JFJessica FergusonA lot more violent than I was expecting from an Angel movie. It was too much for my taste.

Runner is a paint-by-numbers action-comedy that benefits from Alan Ritchson’s well-practiced stunt craft as well as Owen Wilson’s likable comedic stylings.

It’s the uneasy blend of ingredients here – the goofiness, the gore, the tear-jerking sentiment and the havoc – that makes for a lumpy pudding.

At least Ritchson’s collaborators know enough to treat his physical presence like the main attraction. But it’s still hard to care when so much of Runner feels like a watery sketch for a leaner, or more focused, stunt showcase—the actual movie is never as striking as its star.
