    Very strange and surreal. I went in expecting something light hearted but its more of a dark, hypnotic dream. Very similar to his other film Enys Men with the focus on nature and the questioning of whats real and whats not. It definitely gets you thinking.

Seen from the vantage point of our hyper-digital 2020s, Jenkin isn’t just a stark outlier from the current media regime. He’s also among the very few working directors whose cinema feels both familiar and viscerally new.
