Love a film that has me thinking about it this much afterwards. I walk in with no context. Its shot and has dialogue that a p*rno would have lol. I was watching two dudes fish for two hours and seeing them figure out whats happening. The midpoint is when it clicked for me

Though there is not a lot of dialogue, it was still very interesting to see how the characters shifted over the film. Overall impressive cinematography and atmosphere.
Lorna is "meh" onRose of NevadaVery strange and surreal. I went in expecting something light hearted but its more of a dark, hypnotic dream. Very similar to his other film Enys Men with the focus on nature and the questioning of whats real and whats not. It definitely gets you thinking.

i’ve never seen a film quite like this one. so many things about it are peculiar and in such mind spinning ways. the cinematography is so unique and i love it so much. i wish i understood this movie more because if i did i’d probably like it more
Vank14a likedRose of NevadaReally love the old-time look and aesthetic of the movie and loved how surreal it was. I'm usually a fan of minimalistic dialogue but I think this movie needed a bit more because it's too convoluted. Maybe I'll get it after a rewatch.
