Synopsis
Based on an unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move.

Krisha likedRoofmanreally good concept, but definitely could have been executed way better. however, i did cry a few times. the quality was really bad for some reason so the video wasn’t clear and i couldn’t really hear most of what they were saying so i do want to watch it again in better quality.

If there are 5 things Derek Cianfrance loves, it's flawed hopeless romantics, bleach blonde hair, Ben Mendelsohn, failed relationships, and bikes. Good stuff. I could easily have seen Ryan Gosling having initially been offered this role, but Tatum did very well with the emotion.
Rated LV lovedRoofmanGoing into this I knew nothing about the true story. After watching, in my opinion it’s one of 2025’s best films. It’s heartfelt, funny, & standout performances from Channing & Kirsten. This film brings heart and levity to a wild real life tale, blending charm, tension & depth.
