I'm surprise they got away with another sequel, The Ring 2 pretty much ruin the whole Ring Franchise. but to be honest The Rings is way better than The Ring 2, almost got the same level that I'd give to the original Ring

first 40 min to an hour went way to slow, then for 10 min sped up, got slow again and then it just felt like it ended

Slow start but great end!

It's more of a story than horror. Part 2 will have more horror and possession based on the ending!

Figured the movie out twenty minutes into it, but still enjoyed watching the plot unfold. I seriously love the Ring movies and know every detail. I think they did a great job with this and met the expectations of a super fan. If you loved The Ring definitely see this!

It never explained why the priest kept Evelyn locked up if it was the baby who was evil; who did Julia become at the end (Evelyn or Samaria), and why was the priest so enfactuated with having a baby?

I couldn't take most of it seriously because I couldn't help but think of Scary Movie 3. The ending was awful! I would have accepted it if it meant that "Julia" or whatever her name was ended up pregnant with the next murder baby or something. Instead we got the predictable ending of how Samara is never going to stop her endeavors.

my daughter and i enjoyed it !!!!! It was worth a watch. #awesome

Waste of money

It had amazing visuals, don't get me wrong but it had a uh... Not so well thought out plot line. The acting was okay, but really what's their to expect from that angle of the film. It genuinely felt like it was going no where and did it's extremely predictable "twist" and left everyone in question. Literally people left the theatre questioning why they chose to watch this movie. The idea behind it had potential.. but it had writers with no vision.
