Revolver (2005)

Of all the baffling things in this movie the most baffling would have to be Jason Statham having long greasy black hair😱. It was… unnerving. He should always be bald.🧑🏻‍🦲 This had me totally lost😵‍💫. On one hand I think it was pretentious, incoherent drivel💩 and on…

I think I'm right in saying that this is my fifth viewing of this, Guy Ritchie's almost indecipherable follow-up to the awful Swept Away. Again it features many of Ritchie's trademark touches of violence, over-elaborate plot twists, and characters from the London Underworld…

Perhaps the most misunderstood film of all time. Revolver is a masterpiece and the ultimate achievement from Guy Ritchie. However, this is a very different film from his others, and one that requires many viewings to fully understand. That's why a lot of Ritchie fans…

By no means am I a Guy Ritchie fan outside of Snatch or Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, but this is incredibly bizarre and incomprehensible for him. It is just so muddled in terms of how it tells its story, as you are thrown into what feels like the middle of the plot,…
