The worst video game adaptation to film I’ve ever seen. It’s like if someone asked you if you wanted one of your favorite childhood meals. You respond yes. They then rub barbed wire coated in lemon juice against your balls. Also, why did they turn Pyramid Head into Bane from B&R?

The performances too somehow emulates the game’s awkward, unnatural voice acting, a key contributor to both works’ uncanny dreamlike ambience. Rarely has a film better evoked a PlayStation 2 game.
