TJTyeshanae JamesGreat movie, has many references to the video game series, but in the eyes of an NPC character. Lots of jumpscares and quips galore. It's a fun movie to watch and if you have the tendency to overthink, just live in the fiction for a bit. Great movie, highly recommended!

This is a Resident Evil movie that exploits the elements of the game that naturally translate to the cinematic form (namely, loud action and squishy violence) but adds a crucial layer that PlayStation, and the Anderson/Jovovich team, never fully considered: comedy.
