Made me uncomfortable. Freaked me out at the end. It was a bit frightening and quite creepy. I enjoyed watching this and thought it was a well-made project. I recommend it.
Damien likedRent-A-PalIt was weird. Very original and well acted but weird. What’s more though is it was depressing. The way the narrative took it turned it into a tragedy. You were rooting for him almost until the end. Worth a watch though.

This one is gonna stick with me. For anyone who has mental health issues, this is something that provides insight (until the end). It captures loneliness, depression, isolation, and helplessness really well. His state of psychosis was so creepy, but so sad. Very good stuff!

Totally not Juvens likedRent-A-PalThis was a decent film about loneliness and obsession. I normally love these kind of films however, i just didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought i would. Beginning was great it’s just towards the end is where i kinda thought it was trying to hard. Good movie tho. 7/10

it's okay, a bit of a slower movie. it has horror in the tag but I'm not sure about horror, and it's not one you'll be on the edge of your seat for bit I think most people will enjoy the movie.

For all the nostalgia that comes with seeing David pop in a VHS tape, the movie’s time period allows Stevenson to focus our attention on the horror emitting from just one screen.

What makes the film work as well as it does, at least up to a point, are the perfectly calibrated performances. Folkins is superb as the socially maladroit Andy, making his character sympathetic in his genuine satisfaction in being a caretaker despite the personal toll it enacts. And Wheaton, whose entire performance consists of sitting in a chair and talking directly to the camera, uses his innate likeability to at first disarming and then chillingly creepy effect.

Eventually the movie paints itself into a corner then sinks into grisly sludge. Stevenson’s technical skill can’t save him from a trite worldview.
