The Rock must have some sort of clause in his contract that says he has to end up in the jungle at some point in every movie

They spent $200m assembling the most cursed trio of famous people imaginable, who couldn't have less chemistry if they tried, and then let them all explain the heist plot at each other and improv their shticks for 2 hours in front of a camera and called it a movie. An…

Fell asleep 15 minutes in. The first thing I saw when I woke up was The Rock in a jungle. I didn't even question why he was there cause of course.

I'm not even joking when I say this movie is an existential crisis for Hollywood and everyone involved in making it. Brief review here: https://thereveal.substack.com/p/in-review-passing-belfast-red-notice

I love a good old lost treasure hunting movie. Sadly, this isn’t one. How can all the characters in this movie be so dislikable and annoying. 💩

A rousing adventure with almost too many twists for its own good. Seriously, I lost count, and a strong argument could be made that the movie could have ended before it's biggest twist of all, but then we wouldn't have that juicy sequel bait studios love.

Maybe it’s the writing of the movie, maybe it’s just the villain or the whole cast but something is making this movie really bad

While Red Notice may not be unwatchable, by the time the film ends with a deliberate sequel set-up, I was so turned off by the mercenary nature of it all that I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Featuring a trio of supposed movie stars who lack the panache or charisma of true marquee headliners, Red Notice is another visually ghastly bid at building a franchise on the back of breathtakingly boring action sequences.

Until today, I’m not sure I would have believed a movie with this much theoretical “excitement” could be so boring.
