Atom User Reviews for Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
For a sequel to a spin-off has no right being as good as it is. PLEASE go see this!
what can I say? Shrek is love Shrek is life. I already watch it one time and I will go for the second time soon. I love it. great story and stunning animations. much better than all of the recent Disney and Pixar movies.
Surprisingly existential.
Puss ok so is kitty amd the dog. but the rest is demonic violent and not for kids.
"The Last Wish" was a great continuation to the first Puss and Boots! New obstacles to overcome, terrifying villains, and of course Antonio & Salmas chemistry continues to be the strength of this franchise! Highly recommend
It was a good lil spin off enjoyable to watch. There is moments when they bleep out stuff when they curse but if you don’t mind that by all means watch this movie
This is the best in the puss in boots series in my opinion. All the new characters were awesome, they updated the animation and it looks stunning and the story is very heartfelt, funny and whimsical! Must see family film!
Good

Fun movie with a cute story. Great movie for the whole family!
I saw the original as a child and enjoyed this movie with both my son and his daughter (my granddaughter). All three generations loved it!

recaptures the magic of the original Shrek.
a really fun animated movie. my brother and I had a blast
It was a masterpiece all the characters were well made. <3 I hope it’s not the last we see of Puss in Boots
fantastic visual and great story as well.
My daughter was happy, awesome movie.
This is a great kid movie.
Very great movie, both adults and kids can enjoy. 10/10, funny a lot of action and excellent animation and story.
Just like the good old days, brought back all the memories from the Shrek era
Everyone enjoyed it, from the four-year-old to the 13-year-old and the adults. Half way through, with all my grandkids present, I realized that there had been no racism, no bigotry, no sexual grooming. And then I remembered that it wasn’t a Disney. Hallelujah! So happy to support companies that don’t have their own agenda other than to entertain.
Crazy, and funny
Too much water needs more blue people and shrek
Such a cute movie. Animation was great and amazing cast of characters. I can definitely see myself rewatching this multiple times.
Really good movie
it was such a good and amazing movie. definitely the best animated movie of 2022. It was amazing and I can't wait to see if we get more movies like it ☺️👍👍
It was ok. A good family movie
Cute, fun movie
Me and my Son loved it!!
Beautifully animated, deals with an important theme often ignored in family-oriented media perfectly. Recommend to anyone
Second time seeing it. kiddo loves it. it's pretty entertaining.
Amazing
Very epic
Cinematic masterpiece
I feel like it was funny how death tried to kill puss in boots.
It was pretty good; definitely a story to see. Purrfectly written pro-antagonists. The music is also genius, as it fits every scene perfectly. Gave me chills. Just watch, you’ll understand me.
Just a little too intense/scary for my kids
Better than the first
Cute movie! A little dark so might scare the little ones at times, but overall good movie
Best movie of 2022!
Soo good!! 10/10 better than the first!

Metacritic
Puss in Boots isn’t on a rousing adventure; he’s performing the fairy-tale equivalent of grasping at miracle cures while he’s dying from a terminal illness. And although the film is funny in fits and starts, and exciting in fits and starts, the ultimate takeaway is weirdly sobering.

Darker in tone but still extremely funny, the film, like so many of its animated brethren, falters when resorting to the frenetic action sequences seemingly designed for tykes’ short attention spans.

“The Last Wish” has no qualms about testing the expectations of its young audience while delivering a freewheeling tale about appreciating the nine lives we already have.
