just like an actual prom, a lot of build-up to something kind of depressingly perfunctory. at least it's over with fast.

i liked how it started off with them as kids, the casting looked like their older selves good thing i was interested in the friend group because the horror scenes are few and far between the kills could’ve been cooler but the killer was fun, he’s more mobile than other slashers

A slow-moving but otherwise efficient Canadian B-movie that gives the audience what it came for: blood and guts (the title, coincidentally, of Lynch's previous film).
