a movie about an alien organism eating the energy of the sun and somehow the most unrealistic part is still every country on earth working together to save the world

Laughed and cried! Ryan Gosling was out standing and so was Rocky.
MKMichael Koehletawesome movie though reading the book helped fill-in some things that were glossed over or not addressed at all. I'll be seeing it again, soon.

KPKhalaun PhillipsThis was a good movie for these reasons, great visual, lighthearted, funniness, and theme. However, I find myself underwhelmed by the storytelling but I haven’t read the book

In the most purely pleasurable movie so far this year, Ryan Gosling has a blast as a science guy who rockets into space to save all our asses with jolts, jokes and smarts that won’t quit.

Over two-and-a-half hours, the duo’s film gazes in wonder at alien engineering, opens its heart to human vulnerability through karaoke, and makes the case that inspiring the next generation (or at least perpetuating its existence) is alluring enough to shake the smarmiest manchildren from their self-imposed exile. Most effectively, though, Project Hail Mary sees a personal sense of humor shine through the bludgeoning grandeur of a AAA sci-fi.
