not a war or combat movie but rather extremely similar to The Imitation Game in the fact that it was a drama with war as its backdrop. extremely similar in quality to that as well with it being captivating throughout, even for being a movie about the weather 🎥

Weatherman are boring, but how can the weather be boring. Good acting from the leads, really showed how much pressure was on these generals during a war and how it weighs on them. Good building tension throughout, but overall just fine movie.

Best part of the movie was that it did not take away from the real heroics of the soldiers. Yes there’s a main character that you can root for, but at the end of the day, the movie is about how he helps the heroes that make their way to shore.

A WWII drama about the upcoming days before d-day, including an intense weather debacle. This felt like a fresh angle on the event most Americans know so well. I will say I wish this film took more risks and didn’t feel so standard. 6.5

Amazing story behind the scenes of D-Day. The tension is real throughout. I would recommend to non-history or war buffs. The movie does a fantastic job explaining what’s going on and why it matters without assuming any prior knowledge.

The incredible story that is told in this film is not one that you would expect to be interesting, but it is. This harrowing tale about the weather and its effects on the war is something that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.

Rating: 5/10 Felt like they tried to hard to make it dramatic. Wish they spent more time on how they figured out the weather and more time on the battle itself. Didn’t feel like a waste of time but I wouldn’t watch it again.
