Moviegoers are saying
This long-awaited sequel to Practical Magic divides audiences between nostalgic fans celebrating the return of Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman after 26 years, and critics who feel it abandons the original's subtle magic for 'pew pew lightning bolts territory.' While Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' guarantees tears and Nicole Kidman saying 'lock in' becomes a meme-worthy moment, many viewers find themselves emotionally devastated despite the film's flaws.

Loved it. We need more fun, whimsical movies like this, not more films made solely to win awards. This was such a joyful ride, with plenty of sentimental and beautiful moments.
Samantha Stone lovedPractical Magic 2To the loser spamming my reviews: get a life and stop being racist. Lesbians? In MY 90s witch franchise? It’s exactly as likely as you think but it’s a shock it took them this long. Anyway I loved this movie and desperately need more of Antonia (and the girl in the yellow dress) learning to work…
Rylie likedPractical Magic 2Not without its issues but I genuinely enjoyed it. Sad about the aunts and the fact that the sister was barely in it. A great story and ending

To the entire cast: you created something truly magical. Thank you for bringing this beautiful story to life. 🥹

Kendra dislikedPractical Magic 2The beginning was strong, but then the rest of it felt very weak. It was fun to see the original cast reprise their roles but it was an unnecessary sequel. Also the CGI “magic” killed the vibe, I miss when movies would let you use your imagination for those kinds of things.

Better than I expected! Still had vibes of the first one. Just wish Sandra Bullock’s face could move 😞
jessica lovedPractical Magic 2shenanigans! ✨ i adored this movie, i actually think i preferred this to the original. she did everything she could to protect her girls and in the end that was what caused them to drift so far away. it was so bitter, sweet and a tiny lil bit spicy (professor ian) as a woman. as a sister. as a…
WWE President of Personality likedPractical Magic 2The movie is okay, but it is so frustrating. How are you going to tell me that a mom, that walks into her daughter being tied inside a star of fire, about to be stabbed, and after she crossed the ocean looking for her, does nothing until she is actually stabbed, wtf?

It was a good movie. Glad to have the ladies back together, that enough of a celebration for me.
KRKaya Rymwid-MickiewiczOverall disappointed. I loved the 1st movie and wanted to like this. Instead I spent most of the movie rolling my eyes at dialogue and other choices or throwing my hands up going "seriously?". There were a few touching scenes and some nice callbacks to the 1st movie. Thank…

While Bullock and Kidman return to their roles with the sisterly rapport necessary, the film itself is a closed circuit with no narrative electricity to power it.

For the most part, though, it’s an eminently forgettable product that is more interested in rehashing the first film’s familiar bits than in giving viewers any new ones of note.
