i liked the different perspective/origin story for the phantom and he was so so babygirl i could fix him i however didn’t entirely enjoy the little love triangle between christine and those two guys who i think fell in love in the end? i am unsure, but it wasn’t bad overall!

The Phantom of the Opera was never a brilliant movie, but it remains great, ghoulish fun, with Chaney tiptoeing the line between sympathy and shudders.
