Atom User Reviews for Patriots Day
it's a movie people need to see to understand what inspired that day to really see what all transpired overall a great movie
Touching
Good movie.
Loved the suspense and #insightful drama. #staystrong #Boston clings together to find the suspect. Very graphic. I found the main character a little egotistic!
A well done and respectful look at the Boston Marathon Bombing that took place on Patriots Day. Even with it being based on a true story, there was a lot of suspense and parts of the story I didn't know before. Excellent and heartfelt performances all around. It's an emotional movie to watch, but well worth it.
Didnt let us go inside
Amazing
This movie was done very well. Boston Strong. A true movie but I felt a little bit of egotistic cop- here. I am glad they showed how a city came together, followed the rules and caught the bad guy. We need more of this in the world of terrorism.
Boston Strong!!!!
This was super real and powerful that people left because couldn't stand reliving it. There was not a single dry eyes in that theatre!!!
Amazing film. It really captures the emotion and tragedy of the Boston bombing. Very good choice of actors.
This was a great movie, truly shows how a city came together, showed love and bravery. Hats off Boston!
I wouldn't mind seeing it again!
it was a bit depressing but it gives a sense of joy and hope a must see
beautiful movie
Really enjoyed it.
great movie
Very heartfelt movie. It was very well done & depicted the story well. Felt sorry for the victims
Amazing moving. Atom is the best for making it a merry, Merry Christmas!
Awesome movie
This move truly captures the angle of not only the victims but what the police experienced. I forget that police went through the same trauma the victims went through but did not have the opportunity to process it. They needed to think straight and go into action right away. This is an important movie.
Such an inspiring movie a must see movie learned a lot after watching this film
A great representation of the events and the people involved
Great and heroic
One of the worst movies in 2016....a bad TV movie from the 90s
This movie Brought me so much emotions and showd me how our nation can be strong through the worst

Best Movie I Ever Seen
Powerful and amazing movie!
Behind the scenes look, pretty suspenseful, emotional
Boston cop are Heroes from the beginning to the end
I liked that this film chose to be different from other event movies in that it gave us all the players up front, even the bad guys. So it didn't hang the fear of the unknown over our heads. However, it ended up being a little ham-fisted with the other emotional beats...in a way delivering more Hollywood emotion than real Human emotion. Having said that, respect to the filmmakers and all involved.
very emotional and touching movie ❤
One of the best movies I've ever seen and also one of the hardest to watch
Movie was great
Mark did a great job with this movie. Get ready for an emotional roller coaster.

Metacritic
The film, which swivels frantically between first responders, survivors, and investigators, has a percussive force, but its best scene, unbearably tense, is a quiet one, when a Chinese app designer (an excellent Jimmy O. Yang) is carjacked by the Tsarnaev brothers.
After dispensing with the sluggish setup of the film’s first act, Berg shifts into high gear, powerfully evoking the feelings of dread and white-knuckle excitement that much of America no doubt felt as the manhunt progressed.
The hurtling action, speaking louder than any dialogue, gives a stirring sense of the suffering and heroism that flowed from the terror at the Boylston Street finish line.
