9.2 - gorgeously shot, well acted, and even more masterfully written and constructed. But while being emotional and beautiful, it didn’t have me as completely hooked as similar stories. Likely needs some time to digest and probably a second watch to fully sink in.
An amazing story about how fate can sometimes tear apart or bring together. Song forces you to live out every gut wrenching moment between the characters, and it hurts. There is no good guy, no bad guy, and just like in real life, sometimes there’s no true happy ending.

I hated it. Annoying characters. Unrealistic dialogue. Poor acting. This doesn’t deserve to be nominated as best picture not to mention a Nickelodeon kids choice award. 3/10 muhs
favorite character: hae sung least fave character: nora favorite scene: hae sung leaving ny this movie was so good! so sad, relatable, and cute! the skype calls/disconnects felt so real and surprisingly not boring. i loved the awkwardness for him, you're someone who stays 💔

A debut that seems to carry years of expertise for a director that plays with light, movement and silence in creative and meaningful ways. The story penetrates your soul but teaches it a lesson, it does not give in to a perfect ending but rather embraces the simplicity of reality
My boyfriend @eski cannot understand that i can say it was a good movie but i didn’t like it, tbh thought it was really slow and i couldn’t connect or come to care about where the characters were going, but i did like the whole theming of her leaving her past life behind
Hits an emotional key that is hard to achieve in film. Beautifully shot and paced. A top ten love story after watching 30+ years of cinema. Watch it with an open heart and see what happens. Also, if you are a film bro, you are probably going to hate it. It is not Fight Club or JW

Bittersweet in the best way
KMKaitlyn MontanoIt can be slow at times but I think it’s realistic and the silences really tell a lot. It’s a great “what if” type of love story that you can truly relate to and may leave you in tears and pondering for days after.

I enjoyed the movie but being in a relationship and seeing the husband allow the reencounter irritated me a little. Great story overall and raw but not the best movie within this trope.

MNMichelle NguyenThis movie was beautifully filmed. It gave me butterflies.

This movie surprised me. I thought it was going to be some middle aged woman fantasy about reuniting with a lost childhood friend but it ended up being a pretty good tragedy about two Korean people losing each other slowly.
RMRobert MIt was amazing
JCJean-Charles CharifaGreat story and cinematography is top notch.
