micah being warned not to taunt the demon and doing it anyway like he's one of buzzfeed unsolved boys... you are not the buzzfeed unsolved boys tho, micah.

The boyfriend is bloody stupid and incredibly annoying. He deserved what happens to him. It’s not scary though it was just infuriating because of the boyfriend. Poor girl had a idiotic boyfriend.

I used to think this was the ultimate horror movie but now it’s just not the same, some good suspense but not really a full blown horror.

extremely overhyped, but a pivotal point in found footage history. worth a watch, but i cant say the same for the sequels.

i appreciate the impact it had on the found footage genre but wow is it boring, like it was more entertaining than i thought it was gonna be and even then it was still boring and micah is SO. insufferable that it can be hard to sit through, RUN katie, you deserve better 😢

Really liked this one. Although it was a slow burner and obviously low budget, i still found it to be scary. What rlly carries this film is the atmosphere and the dread of waiting to see what will happen next. I rlly like horror movies like this. 7/10

Beyond the viral ingenuity of the marketing, what's cool about PA is that it's not just a fun thrill ride; it's an instructive artistic experience. A horror-movie revisionist, Peli follows a less-is-more strategy.

I’ve never seen a movie that so cunningly exploits our anticipation.
