Find me a more consistently funny comic tool than the malleability of Kermit’s face.

this movie confirms that gonzo has a stretching fetish, a starfish fetish, and a being sacrificed on a pagan altar fetish.

Dear Letterboxd I think it’s time that you made an adjustment to how you list the cast of films, not all films just certain films. You see when you go to the cast page for this movie it lists these other people as playing certain roles when really it should say “Kermit the…

Just like a classic Muppet movie though others are greater. A bit childish, but still fun. It was good to watch a movie with some classic performers: Jerry Nelson, Frank Oz, Kevin Clash. Would watch again but probably only with my future kids. Favorite scene: Kermit fighting LJS.

This was my least favorite Muppet film thus far. It was good overall but not at humorous or as memorable as the others Quote: what's next - a singing, dancing mouse with his own amusement park? Character: Rizzo Moment: anytime the Rat cruise guests are on screen Rating: 6/10

I love the muppets, but I have to say this one might be my favorite. The songs are iconic, it tells the story of Treasure Island really well and the comedy fits all ages.

Classic muppet adventure, but the shenanigans were maybe a little childish for me watching as an adult. But Tim Curry totally slayed (per usual).

Typical muppet delivery of a classic. Knee slappers, action and twists. Curry was an excellent choice. Wanted more cameos, though.

Tied with Christmas Carol as the best Muppet film in existence. Tim Curry gives a muppet worthy performance. 10/10

The black spot. Tim Cury slays. Muppets get scurvy. We dance, sing, and cry. Absolute perfection.

Tim Curry was peak in this film. Super funny and charming to watch as a muppet film usually is.

Muppet Treasure Island is an elaborate, juicy eyeful. The film is an impressive maze of visual scale and perspective that lets humans and puppets interact as a single species. The overall effect is a wonderful sense of the fantastical. But simplicity might have helped where the movie often stagnates with gimmicks.
