Took me a while to write a review for this cause I looked forward to it and it fell quite short. It’s boring It’s artistic.? but lacks a plot and the characters are flat. For a movie with a fantastic cast and writers for the songs you’d think they spend some time on a script.

i loved how artistic the entire film was, and the intense emotions conveyed through it. i was really confused at times because i didn't understand what was going on, but the intense tension between the two made it make sense (i ship it).

3/5 complex symbolism & catholic references, but the execution was AMAZING. This role is very different from what Anne Hathaway normally does - horror, singing, etc. Kind of a slow burn tho, & I wish there were more to the other themes.
