Incredible fighting scenes and story. One of the best revenge films of all time. Like an Indian John Wick.

Amazingly choreographed fight scenes and a powerful but simple story that you can emphasize with and still see happening today. We need more fight scenes done this well.

Monkey Man is the kind of action movie I want to see more of, and it gives Patel the chance to turn himself into the kind of action star he wants to see.

If the results are more than a little preachy, it’s only because Patel cares so passionately about the issues he spotlights and the cinematic language of violence he uses to discuss them.
