Synopsis
In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper (Jessie Buckley) retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her. What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears in visionary filmmaker Alex Garland's (Ex Machina, Annihilation) feverish, shape-shifting new horror film.

Lots of metaphors and symbolism that took me way too long to understand. Other than that it was an alright film, the message they were portraying could’ve been done in a better way for people like me who aren’t reading too much into it. It’s also very gorey not my vibe.still good
Penny dislikedMenMaybe some people will enjoy it. One of my friends did. But not me and not the people I went watching it with. I love odd movies that makes you a bit uncomfortable, but Men is extreme, it’s a bit hard to follow at some moment and the ending will give you nightmares. Beware ⚠️
Sabrina Bondi is "meh" onMenMen is an elementary look at what it’s like to live as a woman in the 21st century. It’s an underwhelming, simplistic take on the very real violence that women face, packaged in a nonsensical, edgy indie format. But not really my style.

In a way, it’s almost worth recommending Men for the first 70 minutes. At that point, a quick exit would preserve the illusion that this is some sort of modern horror classic. For those who stick around, however, the final assessment isn’t likely to be nearly as favorable.
