Moviegoers are saying
This Timothée Chalamet-led sports drama pulls off a masterful bait-and-switch, starting as a conventional ping pong movie before spiraling into a cocaine-fueled, Safdie Brothers-esque nightmare that left audiences either exhilarated or exhausted. While universally praised for Chalamet's committed performance and its relentless intensity, viewers are split on whether the chaotic energy feels like a masterpiece or an overwhelming assault.

Tricks you into thinking it'll be a normal sports movie for 30 minutes before evolving into the most batshit, nightmarish, Safdie-esque Safdie comedy of errors to date. The third act of this might be the most exhilarated I've been by a movie all decade.

the final movie of christmas parent-a-palooza. they did not like it. I have seen a lot of people talk about the Holocaust scene in different ways ranging from confusion to reading it as a joke, and while I ultimately think it's unfair to call any reading of a movie as…

Good film but ending felt a bit rushed after all the chaos we experience with the main character.

Pretty good film. Only downside is there’s a lot of yelling and shouting like in the Adam Sandler movies and The Bear .

Here is an intelligent entertainment as generously stuffed as the greatest 19th-century novel. They rarely make them like this any more.

Marty Supreme is a rare film that will become a watershed moment in cinematic history, in the same way that Taxi Driver and Pulp Fiction did. It will be spoken of in reverent tones in years to come, and will be endlessly studied and then copied by lesser filmmakers.
