Don’t believe the bad reviews that came before this movie premiered. It’s definitely fun and worth the watch!

Worst marvel movie I’ve seen. Worse then the marvels or Thor love and thunder.

Not bad! It’s something different! I think everyone gets caught up and thinks every movie needs to be like infinity war.

I cannot say this enough, that Marvel has finally made big strides towards exiting their slump after End Game. This movie had me on the edge of my seat, the action and introduction of Madam Web was perfect. It’s a must see for any marvel fan

Not bad but not great rather, very slow sequences and way long build up… that being said, writing was good and cleaver… but I think where it fell short was Directing! That acting was goood for what they were given… but I feel this could have been better. I wasn’t expecting MCU production and since this was a Sony driven production, it’s on them for the lack of directing.

It’s an origin story so it will be very slow for many people to watch. Great cast. Sad to see very little super hero action. Could have been better

Not your typical Spiderman or marvel movie. Definitely a good move and Sydney Sweeney played her part very well.

Eeek. Who wrote this script? Good cast (minus the bad guy, his acting was horrible), but geez the writing is atrocious and the storyline is all over the place and not consistent.

I felt very meh about this movie. it wasn't bad, but it didn't live up to the movies I'm used to marvel putting out.

Sony has done better with their characters than Disney! Dakota was great in this.

Think Final Destination meets Spider-Man but if it was made for USA or the WB. Fun and had its clever moments!

Worse than the Marvel's. I was struggling to stay awake. They couldn't have cast a more boring actress in Dakota Johnson.

The cast was great but the plot had many holes and didn’t flow together with the characters backgrounds. I feel like if they spent more time on dialogue instead of corny one liners then it’s would’ve been more enjoyable.

Good movie but really needed more superhero action to it. Not enough costume time but still enjoyable if you go in with an open mind. The acting was good.

Writing, line delivery and plot were all mind numbingly awful.

Easily top 3 worsts modern superhero movie. Dull acting, terrible script - I’m shocked at how bad of a production it was.

The movie is not as bad as most people are claiming it to be. Cast wise was ok but I felt the writer strike really took a toll and the premise was good but could have been executed better. It was well paced and scenes that felt like it dragged were replaced with suspension. I also liked the call backs to the spider verse and other movies that bring up premonitions and the characters did not feel flat (except DJ, her line delivery was very flat).

Sadly, Madame Web fails to rise above its pedigree as a lesser superhero movie. It does nothing to convince viewers that there’s value to be found in a story not featuring a marquee comic book character.

None of this would work without Johnson, whose gift for side-eye and deadpan line readings grounds what could be a very silly story into one with real human stakes (that do not, thankfully, involve the fate of the entire world).
