Maybe it’s because I found Lou’s initial circumstances frighteningly similar to ones I previously experienced, but I found Love Language to be a delightfully lovely rom-com. Some great jokes and comedic moments sprinkled throughout the film, but it’s the film’s maturity…

Despite ripping on it for about half the movie I got sucked into its Lifetime vibe and found myself falling for another dumb romcom. Maybe it was the plethora of cool Chicago scenes. Maybe I have no shame. Well, maybe a little. Whatever, I liked this.
