It was so boring, no motivation for the killer, why was he named long legs? Why the cryptic writing? Nothing gets explained, the plot is lame and honestly not scary at all

I went with my girlfriend as she was dying to see it. We both were bored and it seemed like the others in the theater had the same thoughts. I wouldn't recommend this movie, save your money and see something else. This wasn't horror, it wasn't scary and it was so slow .

What’s clear is that as a stylist, Perkins is at the top of his game. Maybe even the top of anyone’s game. As a storyteller, he’s either a bold innovator or just slapping dream logic onto old-fashioned pulp.
As chilling and stylish as it is, Longlegs is a frustrating pleasure.
The horrors, like Cage himself, are largely kept off-screen for much of the movie’s duration. Yet with its eerie soundscape and sepulchral visuals, Longlegs nevertheless succeeds as a deeply disconcerting experience, one that burrows into the brain as insidiously as the innocuous means its villain employs to disseminate his evil.
