It was so boring, no motivation for the killer, why was he named long legs? Why the cryptic writing? Nothing gets explained, the plot is lame and honestly not scary at all

This movie might go over a few people heads, but if your a true horror fan you’ll understand the art. Definitely going to see again #Datenight

Terrible!! It was a huge disappointment and a waste of time and money.

This movie was absolutely amazing from all aspects of filming and acting. The hype from the marketing team truly paid off. Finally a good horror movie that doesn't rely on gore/cheap jumpscares. Uneasiness follows you every second of the movie while also making your eyes stay on the screen. The acting was incredible and the main actress did such an amazing job. She stole the show from Nicholas Cage in my opinion. I definitely will be rewatching this more than once!

The hype is justified. To be frank, I have a hard time taking seriously anyone who poorly rates this film, says it is overhyped or not scary, etc. Do not take this film lightly. It is easily one of the scariest movies EVER made, not just of this decade but of all time. There is a degree of subjectivity here, sure (and thus I recognize that not everyone’s experience will be the same), but I cannot take anyone seriously who is outright dismissive of this film. I am an amateur film aficionado and horror buff, have watched more horror movies than I can count, including many deemed some of the scariest or most disturbing ever made, and this one stood out to me. I do not scare easily but this left me genuinely and deeply unsettled. It is scary in every way a film can be scary, or close to it, and intense throughout, with many unpleasantly memorable moments. Do not take kids to this.

Scary as Hell!!!

This movie had me peeking through my hands and on edge mostly throughout the whole movie. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it. We definitely felt that it was very unsettling and it stayed like that throughout the whole film. I don’t feel like the movie was hard to get or hard to pay attention to at all. I felt engaged throughout as a big horror film fan.

I went with my girlfriend as she was dying to see it. We both were bored and it seemed like the others in the theater had the same thoughts. I wouldn't recommend this movie, save your money and see something else. This wasn't horror, it wasn't scary and it was so slow .

What’s clear is that as a stylist, Perkins is at the top of his game. Maybe even the top of anyone’s game. As a storyteller, he’s either a bold innovator or just slapping dream logic onto old-fashioned pulp.
