His legs weren’t even that long
Jim CaddickJul 11, 2024I don’t really know what I expected but there was way more Bill Clinton screen time than I was both mentally and physically prepared for.
owenJul 20, 2024really captures the horror of not knowing what you’re supposed to do while someone sings happy birthday to you

Baffled by the near-universal praise. First off, the marketing team at Neon is brilliant. Every teaser, promo, early review gave an impression that THIS was the horror film of the year. I was filled with dread walking into the theater. Unfortunately, the movie is a lot…
JakeJun 13, 2024my favorite part was when i was able to exit the theater into broad daylight and a happy crowded street 😀
ReeceJun 17, 2024Can somebody match Nicolas Cage’s freak?

Kicking my feet & blushing in my cinema chair after Nic Cage/Longlegs blew me a kiss😙
👾Dylan👾Jul 8, 2024It’s tough not to respond to the hype while reviewing this movie, the marketing campaign has obviously become a huge sensation and with it came a barrage of clickbaity early reactions describing the next Silence of the Lambs and the scariest movie of the century. Longlegs…

Nicholas cage didn’t need to have that makeup on for it to be a horror hes ugly enough

8.1 - rewatched & slightly dropped. Definitely one to just let the vibes take over and not analyze too much because the plot can start to unravel a bit. Still a fun time though. 8.5 - What a weird experience. It’s both overstuffed & well realized. It somehow mixes a serial killer crime mystery…
I usually don’t watch trailers, because anymore they spoil the whole movie. Maybe I should’ve watched them for this one. Didn’t realize the plot was different from what I THOUGHT it’d be. Felt like Nicolas Cage wanted to act like a freak, so they built a movie around that and only that.

Almost used my long legs to leave the theater. High hopes missed the mark🦵

It was so boring, no motivation for the killer, why was he named long legs? Why the cryptic writing? Nothing gets explained, the plot is lame and honestly not scary at all
This movie might go over a few people heads, but if your a true horror fan you’ll understand the art. Definitely going to see again #Datenight

What’s clear is that as a stylist, Perkins is at the top of his game. Maybe even the top of anyone’s game. As a storyteller, he’s either a bold innovator or just slapping dream logic onto old-fashioned pulp.
As chilling and stylish as it is, Longlegs is a frustrating pleasure.
The horrors, like Cage himself, are largely kept off-screen for much of the movie’s duration. Yet with its eerie soundscape and sepulchral visuals, Longlegs nevertheless succeeds as a deeply disconcerting experience, one that burrows into the brain as insidiously as the innocuous means its villain employs to disseminate his evil.
